SP+ has worked with the University of North Dakota since 2014 and both parties have recently announced that the partnership will continue into 2016. SP+ was asked by the University to conduct a thorough assessment of its parking program and to develop recommendations for improving the way access as well as mobility services delivered to the University.
SP+ completed the recommendation in early 2015 and provided the UND team a plan that highlighted the use of parking technology, organizational structure and an increase in human resources. Additionally, the University’s parking enforcement practices and permit allocation systems were also overhauled.
SP+ will implement these dramatic changes to UND and is currently working to replace its current “hunting license” approach with a tiered parking permit system to better streamline the permit process.
SP+ University Services is honored to be UND’s preferred parking partner and is thankful for the opportunity to service students and faculty.
