SP+ recently provided parking and valet services to a record-breaking crowd at Churchill Downs. In celebration of Oaks Day and Derby Day, approximately 340,000 people visited the historic race track.

Oaks Day and Derby Day were held on Friday, May 6th and Saturday, May 7th, respectively. During the two days, SP+ valeted 1,800 cars, parked over 550 buses, 450 limos, and the vehicles of 2,700 dignitaries.

During the week before, SP+ Maintenance Services had measured and striped the gravel and grass lots near the Kentucky Derby and Kentucky Oaks to improve traffic flow and make room for overflow parking.

SP+ currently has a multi-year contract with Churchill Downs to oversee parking for all racing events.
