The SP+ Support Office located in Nashville recently held a donation drive for the Nashville Rescue Mission, a local charity that provides free food, shelter, counseling, and educational resources to the community.
Employees were asked to donate based on a list of items requested by the Nashville Rescue Mission, which included toiletries, water, baby items, towels, blankets, and medicine. Many employees donated to the cause, and the number of items collected rapidly increased throughout the week as more employees got into the spirit of giving.
When the Nashville Rescue Mission came to collect the items, they were surprised by the generous donations. One of the volunteers, who confessed to be a recovering drug addict, explained that the donated items represented hope and change for him and many others.
