The SP+ garage at Capella Tower in Minneapolis recently ended its annual Backpack Drive for Volunteers of America. As every year, the garage collects backpacks and supplies for Operation Backpack to help poverty-stricken and homeless children go back to school.

The garage took in a record-breaking amount of donations this year by collecting 172 filled backpacks; $1,515 cash; and $65 in retail gift cards.
