2016 Scholarship Winners

SP+ is pleased to announce the winners of the 2016 scholarship awards, sponsored by the Women’s Advisory Forum (WAF).

toree

Toree Cabral is a Finance Supervisor for the DIA location and has worked for SP+ for the last seven years. She enjoys her position and department, which is the reason she wants to continue her education. She plans to use her future degree to continue advancing within the company.


sarah

Sarah Redfern ​joined SP+ in 2014 as an office clerk and is now an administrative assistant in the Seattle area. She plans to earn a bachelor’s degree in Administrative Management at Central Washington University. She hopes the enhanced skillset will better support her team and lead to advancement.


marc-riels

Marc Riels began his management career with Central Parking in 2001, and was promoted to a Senior Manager with SP+ in 2016. He will graduate from the University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in May 2018.


jasmine-legaspi

Jasmine Legaspi is the Regional Office Manager in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her tasks include revenue reporting, accounts receivables, accounts payables and human resources. She plans to use the scholarship to focus on studying for her accounting license and hopes to work in the accounting department in the future.


carol-jenkins

Carol Jenkins joined Central Parking’s accounting department at the Detroit Metro Airport in 2006. In 2011, she was promoted to Assistant General Manager. She will use the scholarship to gain more knowledge in the areas of finance, budgeting, marketing, and operational planning and development.

Amira Valdez ​has been with SP+ for nearly a decade. As a Facility Manager, she has been involved in the management of both commercial and residential portfolios. She enjoys learning and hopes to diversify her skills and expand her knowledge of the business side of SP+.
